Abused Odin - Thank you!

Our Goal: $250

chip-in Post

UPDATE (March 8, 2023):

Look how great Odin looks!! After about six weeks, Odin has improved greatly in his foster home and has learned to trust humans again. This truly shows what lots of TLC can do to an animal in need.

If you look closely, you can still see the deep scars covering his body; however, Odin has not let this stop him from loving life. He has a loving and gentle spirit and has found pure happiness with his foster family.

The good news hasn't stopped yet! His foster, Pamela, has pre-adopted this beautiful boy! Pamela said, "he's come a long way! We've been through a lot together, and he's such a good boy that I decided to pre-adopt him!"

We are happy Odin is getting the second chance at life he deserves. ????❤️

SAPA!'s fosters are the most dedicated individuals I know. They not only help the animals currently in our care, but they also advocate and help homeless, abused dogs, and cats in our communities.

Odin was found wandering in a neighborhood, severely hurt with wounds all over his poor body. Through local social media posts, Pamela, one of our amazing fosters, stepped up to locate him and bring him into our care.

We can only imagine the horrific abuse Odin has endured in his short two years. Odin is covered with deep scars and has injuries to his face, neck, eyes, and legs. He came to Pamela's home tired, worn out, beaten, and sad. Pamela wrote, "the first night Odin arrived at my house, he was afraid. He just laid there and didn't want to eat or drink."

Odin visited SAPA!'s Medical Care Center, where our medical team accessed, cleaned his wounds, and was prescribed pain medication, antibiotics, and eye drops. Odin's care and medicines are estimated to cost more than $250. Please consider making a gift to help cover Odin's medical treatment.

We are very thankful Odin is enjoying his foster home with his two foster siblings. His fantastic foster will clean his wounds twice a day and monitor him closely, so there are no signs of infection. Odin started to trust Pamela and her family quickly, and he is a sweet, gentle, and loving pup.

Without your support, dogs like Odin would not have a fighting chance. Thank you for your helping us care for the ones that need us the most.

*Any remaining funds we receive after covering Odin's medical expenses will go towards medical costs for other dogs and cats in our care.
